We'll be exhibiting at the Road Safety Conference Wales on Tuesday 1 July at the Angel Hotel, Cardiff. The Conference this year follows the theme of Managing Occupational Road Risk and focuses on people who drive as part of their work and the implications of the Corporate Manslaughter and Homicide Act.

We're expanding our portfolio

Members of the Drive Smarter team are busy researching and filming a number of new modules to add to the existing line-up.

"We have listened to our customers and established the need for more modules covering driver behaviour and understanding the needs of other road users," says Drive Smarter director Peter Baker. "We are also putting together a number of informative, straightforward modules designed to explain topics most of us THINK we know, but could probably do with a little reminder!"

Take speed limits, for example. At Drive Smarter we reckon they're some of the best kept secrets of our road system. And does everyone know their ESP from their ABS? We hope our modules will offer some simple, clear explanations of the important facts.

Drive Smarter the way you want it

We've been speaking to lots of organisations in the past few months, each with their own specific needs. That's why we're keen to point out that you can customise Drive Smarter to your exact needs.

You can use the modules in any order and frequency you want, you can set the test pass marks and you can control how results and feedback are provided.

Better still, we can include footage of your own company spokesperson to start one or more of the modules, and we can write all the test questions to your specific brief. Just talk to us about your requirements.

Drive Smarter includes:

  • top quality videos and informative background notes, with interactive tests to confirm individual understanding.
  • journey planning and management, risk reduction, self-control and practical tips for safer, greener and more economical journeys, all in 12 modulescomplete flexibility of use.
  • Choose all 12 modules in any order over any time period, or opt for fewer if you prefer the ‘discovered learning’ approach means no finger wagging and no patronising. Just the facts.
